The 64 bit client doesn't work for me, either. I am in Europe and play on a EURO realm. The linked download does not work for me.

Not sure what exactly you want him to look into - it's not working now, Blizzard will make it work later, much like the North American realms. :-)
I'm a bit perplexed by the excitement over something as technical as a (beta) 64 bit client. Are people expecting awesome improvements on foot of this? I see it as more of a scaling thing for the future; maybe some of us have beautiful systems and have been waiting patiently for this, but I can't see it as a giant a must-have-now thing.

Perhaps they didn't want to make such a change during daytime hours EU? No sense in risking peak hours disruption for something that's not urgent.
