Bizzard,
You guys need to increase the drop rate of the Glyph Mastery books. I can sped hours farming Northend for cloth and I will not see one book drop at all!!

The Book of Glyph Mastery is actually a topic we've been discussing in our meetings. I can't make any promises just yet but can at least acknowledge that we're tossing around ideas for the book and for researching new Inscription glyphs.
The pandaren mount is still being finalized, so what you've heard (or seen) are just rumors at this point. Obviously we want the mount to be something awesome, which will take some time to perfect. In addition to the pandaren mount, expect to see a ton of new mounts in Mists of Pandaria. In fact, if any of the new creatures being added in the next expansion look up to the task, I'm sure the developers are looking for ways to throw a saddle on them so they can adventure through Azeroth with our heroes. Though I'm sure some are more comical looking than others. :P Anyway, once the information is ready, we'll get it out to all of you. Trust!

Saddle *all* the things?
PonTelon Feb 2nd 2012 12:16AM
I was promised a Pandaren slave with a saddle on it!

If the modellers have always tried this, I would dearly love to see any old, rejected ideas.
I'm trying to imagine the possibilities...

I've wanted a crab mount for my gnomes for a while now. Alternatively, a moonkin mount.

I still think Hunters should be able to train their own mounts

They're *still* talking about the book of glyph mastery? Jeez, you guys! I understand you don't want to screw it up and have to eat crow later, but I think you'd be hard pressed to come up with a solution worse than what's on live servers right now. Putting them in *goddamn canopic jars* is a better system than on live. Just do anything, literally anything. The first thing someone suggests at the next meeting. Throw darts at a wall. Just pick something and implement it as soon as humanly possible.

I have no idea why there needs to be so much debate on this. :|

i thought you could learn the recipes from discovery now...
rodmin Feb 2nd 2012 10:04AM
Gaming politics, that's what...
When something that easy, with lots of easy solutions around, takes a heckload of time, then it's something related with gaming polotics (which is kinda equal to the normal polotics we all know).
Unless ofc

This. I was lucky enough and crazy enough to have gotten all the recipes back in the wotlk days and have been selling off my hoarded BoGMs for EXORBITANT AMOUNTS. Just make the damn thing drop everywhere from cata level monsters!
andrews Feb 2nd 2012 2:58PM
I had read that the recipes were going to be discoverable with research in 4.2, but that turned out to not be true.
They could at least greatly increase the drop rate and help the problem significantly. At least that would provide a larger supply while they figured out what to do in the long run.
The current situation is stupid. I have leveled 2 scribes and finding the books was the worse part, even over the daily research. Both know all the current glyphs.

I thought it was ridiculous when the books were going for 50g on the AH two years ago. Now they're going for 1k.
FIX THIS.

How is a nimbus cloud not awesome? DOOOOOO EEEEEEEEET.
Calaana Feb 2nd 2012 2:01AM
Ugh, I hope not. All the goku wannabes are bad enough as it is. It'll be nightelf mohawk all over again, only they won't be removing it.
Fletcher Feb 2nd 2012 12:10AM
Yak! Yak! Yaaaaaaaaaaaak.
Noyou Feb 2nd 2012 12:38AM
One of my good friends in RL who got me into the game names most of his toons with a variation of Yak. He would go BA-NANAS if they did this. :)
Fletcher Feb 2nd 2012 2:32AM
Clearly he needs to make a feral druid named Yakittysax. :P
Noyou Feb 2nd 2012 3:51AM
I suggested, "Yakiechan". He loved it. Also named his first toon, Conyak. He was going to go with Congac, but I have been around certain people who called it, "Con-yak" with their dialect, if you will. It just kind of fit. Now hopefully he has it saved on a trial account as we all await having more toons per server ;)
Jawn Feb 2nd 2012 12:49PM
He should make a hunter named Yakittiyak and a pet called Donttalkback.
