This is a fantasy setting, let me take it a step further- it is a fantasy setting in which teens can play. So yeah, I am offended that a major male character calls a major female character a bitch. I haven't voiced my opinion on it til now. Does that make me over dramatic or overly sensitive? I don't know. That is my feeling on it. Plain and simple. Just because you might be a woman and you might not be offended, doesn't make that any more right.
As far as Sylvanas being, "a bad person" so it's okay for her to be degraded. I don't buy into that way of thinking at all. Doesn't mean you are any more or less wrong for feeling that way.
I think if you want to show that a character is "bad, crass or tough" there are more verbose ways of going about it. Sure, there is a time and place for use of such language. To me, WoW ain't one of them. Sorry.
