This shouldn't affect paladins in MoP. There was a similar bug with Priest healing late in Wrath that made them OP for about 4 hours just like this bug, and it didn't affect their development. It's likely this was a simple coding error, people are speculating it was an interaction of seals proccing on themselves in conjunction with the Critical Mass (fire mage) debuff.
