Darkmoon Faire Achievement Progress - Update, 03/02
January's Darkmoon Faire achievement progress status was cleared prior to the launch of February's faire. Any achievements that were started but not completed have had their criteria reset. Completed achievements are unaffected.
However, any future achievement progress (February included) will be saved to your character and will continue to contribute towards progression of those achievements in subsequent visits to Darkmoon Faire.
Regrettably, we are not able to restore any progress you may have made during January's faire. We do appreciate the impact this may have had and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I'm not sure whether or not we should be playing the Final Fantasy 7 victory theme on this one or whether we should be playing the The Price is Right losing horns. What do they do when someone plays Plinko but only gets like $200 out of it?

I'm guessing this happened a day or two ago, because yesterday is when I noticed that my tracked Achievements list had grown and then I noticed the list of everything under Darkmoon Despoiler on there. :(
I only had A Treatise left.
Since this happened in Jan too, I thought they would have fixed it by now and I was safe to get them all. I guess that was a waste of gold.

I'm annoyed that I have the two individual achievements for turning in the artifacts, but Blizzard can't figure out how to give me credit for that in the overall achievement. I've also turned in the raid one, as well. I'm at the point I don't want to mess with the fluff stuff any longer.

Sooo I guess the best thing to do is to stash artifacts until you have them all and then turn them in. I have a bunch of them (some doubles.. some triples even!) for turning in and selling, since i never take the book out of my bag I get to roll on/pick up whatever drops. I think the only one I don't have is the treatise, but I did see in patch notes that it was added to another boss. The pain in the rear one is going to be the pvp one, I had all but one of those turned in last month.. and that one is sitting in my bank waiting. Looks like I have to get the others again. Ah well. I *should* get exalted with the fair this month.. and a bear mount. I know I'll do the stuffs for the tickets, but it won't be as pressing to get the artifacts once I finish the achievements.

Was, but not anymore. From now on, your progress will carry forward, so you may as well turn them in as you find them.

You probably know this already, but for the general readership: you can only complete each turn-in quest once per Faire per character, regardless of how many items you've acquired during the month.

Thank goodness I got the Treatise for this month but I'm disappointed that I'm going to have to start over on turning all the others in.
But I guess the hard part will be over, at least.

This is lame. I opened a ticket about this the other day but I just read this now.
The thing that gets me is that I only had one item left for both of the achievements and I had some gold saved up and I bought a couple of the ones I needed and spent quite a bit. Great to see that was for naught.

February's progress has been lost on my toons, looks like they screwed up.
