Do mages really need 3 competitive PvE specs?

The easiest way to bring frost dps up without touching pvp would be to buff deep freeze damage. I wish they would.

The reason they nerfed it before was because of how ridiculous the damage of Deep Freeze is on player controlled vehicles in pvp. A single Frost mage in a Strands or Isle could, by himself/herself, destroy a vehicle in a few seconds on top of actively applyin multiple snares/roots to the targets.

@Shintakie10 Yea I remember that when cat came out. Started out BWD in an under-geared raid as frost who's job was to kite those damn worms from Magmaw. The thing was that I was critting mind freeze at close to 110k with crap gear as long as I timed my cool-downs right. Till the nerf I was doing as much dps as my arcane.

AS much though. Arcane will always be blizzard go too spec. Once you master arcane, it becomes boring. Fire is still my favorite spec for fun play. Watching for high ignights, timing combustion mmmm..
