Do mages really need 3 competitive PvE specs?

@Argent Actually, currently in DS for ST fights Sub is best, then Combat behind by a very small margin and Assassination significantly farther away. During this expansion, though, we've had all 3 specs PvE viable, even if some have lagged a bit behind, mainly Sub at the start and Assassination from about middle of FL. For PvP though, things are very different. The only viable spec is Sub, mostly due to unmatched mobility and utility. Preparation has defined Rogue PvP for 2 expansions now. One way or the other it seems like all specs will be viable for PvE and PvP in MoP.

I hope other pure classes get that too.
