What Blizz needs to do now is take away the role bonus from people who already have the item, because what's happening now is that people are rolling need even if they already have it in hopes of getting a trade.

This is invalid for tier.
The blues have already told us that the game can't tell if the person rolling has their off-set or not.
I have healing tier on my Priest and roll for Tier in LFR so I can flip to Shadow and do more DPS than Smiting. I am really sick of people yelling at me and kicking me out of LFR because they think I want to use tier to trade.

I have full 397 4-pc tier in my tanking set. I roll need on tier in raidfinder because I'm building a ret set. I tank in raidfinder because my dps in ret is still a bit embarassing (tho I hit 29k on Baleroc last night, yay me!), and I like to think I'm a pretty good tank.
Would you rather have me tanking or that dude in full pvp gear? I could queue as ret, it'd probably give me more practice on the fights, but I like to tank raidfinder because I don't die if there's even one healer paying half attention to me.

I just want to say I find it REALLY annoying when people feel the need to call others out on this in Raid chat and demand that person be kicked for simply rolling on something they already have.
It's none of your business WHY they're doing it, and if they offer to trade it we can kick them THEN. But the people, and there are a few of them, that claim that people shouldn't roll need for OS are just ridiculous. And I play a hunter so I HAVE no off-spec.
You didn't win. Sit down, shut up, and enjoy the rest of the ride, please.

I do feel that they should just remove the 2-hour trade window in LFR. Let people know, "Hey, be careful with rolls, etc., in LFR because we're not gonna fix it for you." The amount of problems caused by legitimate errors would be far, far, far lower than the amount of problems caused by being able to trade this gear.

@cutaia - And it would stop people from rolling on items to use as trade bait. Yes, I've lost to them and yes, I'm bitter.
