I don't know if it's just because I started playing wow late in BC, but I love visiting all the BC zones. I just ran the three dungeons in Netherstorm last night and had a great time. I'm also saddened every time I go to Silvermoon City when I see how dead it is.

It does suck about Silvermoon City. It seems such a great place to hang out, too, but there really is no incentive to stick around there.
