Its time to re-arm the dragon soul. Can't take the ugly.
incoming00 Feb 14th 2012 5:13PM
i'm a sucker for these, 3rd mount i'm gonna buy. kinda wish they had the spectral tiger mount on the blizz store :D
facepalmer2 Feb 14th 2012 5:13PM
Kudos to those who predicted this would be a Blizzard Store Purchase!
Zayd Feb 14th 2012 5:15PM
I'm tempted to buy one to give my alts something different to ride about in.
incoming00 Feb 14th 2012 5:18PM
haha seriously, imagine just hitting lvl 20 and riding around this thing :D
Sarah Bee Feb 14th 2012 5:15PM
Is it just me or have most of these paid-mounts and pets looked consistently bad? And even for the ones that do look kinda interesting, they really lose their effect when there's about fifty other people around the capitol sporting them
CDave Feb 14th 2012 5:21PM
They're just so... annoyingly shiny and flamboyant. At this point I would pay $25 for my characters to fly like a superhero.
jfofla Feb 14th 2012 5:47PM
It's you
loli.gigis Feb 14th 2012 6:24PM
OMG I totally agree this has to be one of the most ugliest mounts I have ever seen... give me my netherdrake any day...
Eldoron Feb 14th 2012 6:39PM
Just like nether drakes? They were shiny and most lvl 70s had them at one point
artifex Feb 14th 2012 6:53PM
Makes my violet proto-drake look prettier, so it can't be all bad.
Aika Feb 14th 2012 7:13PM
It's not just you.
I wonder if Blizzard is in conflict, internally, over paid-for mounts, as they each one has been so ugly. We know they can do better as they regularly *do* do better with the in-game reward mounts.
Killik Feb 14th 2012 7:20PM
Yes, they are all ugly and unappealing, that's why they sell so many. The aesthetic may not appeal to you (or, honestly, to me) but they certainly seem to be tapping into a market. Like SUVs, I guess.
Aika Feb 14th 2012 7:35PM
^
Well, yes. It's just strange because they successfully appeal to a quite different aesthetic with a lot of the in-game mounts. But maybe it's a separate design team that does the paid-for stuff.
Utakata Feb 14th 2012 8:06PM
It looks to me more like it was designed by a committee.
lazymangaka Feb 14th 2012 9:08PM
It is just you.
Prelimar Feb 14th 2012 5:16PM
i may have to actually buy a mount.
Skyburnone Feb 14th 2012 5:18PM
awesome!
kabshiel Feb 14th 2012 5:19PM
That's disappointing that they would take a mount that fits in perfectly with the current raid and make it a store item.
Noyou Feb 14th 2012 5:44PM
I can appreciate you not wanting to have to purchase a mount. If you think you will like it, buy it. If it is like the other 2 mounts, it goes to any toon you ever made. It is great for toons on other servers and alts. If you have room in your budget, it's not a bad choice. No- I do not work for Blizzard :P
