Since Wrath, leveling gear has had very bland models. Now that we have Transmog, do you think we will see any new interesting green and crafted armor "sets" like they made in Vanilla?

Oh so much this. I love the old gear from Vanilla era.Shinanji

I think they already implemented this to some extent with cata greens. I also have been CTRL+clicking to see what every quest reward looks like. Really slows things down (Especially when you have to take off a tabard to see what the gear looks like).

Anyone else wish that when you ctrl+click a chest piece the dressing room would automatically hide your tabard?

I don't think the trend started with Cata since transmog came late in the game after Cata was released. But I honestly do think that with transmog, the artists have even more incentive to create excellent looking gear. Before, nobody sticks with greens, so there was no use in spending a lot of time making them look special. When transmog was announced, skeptics were worried that nobody would ever display their new purples if they had the ability to display old content that everyone remembers and loves. But the last tier of gear was widely well received with some claiming they were some of the best sets Blizzard has ever released.I think that when artists know that the gear they create could potentially be seen for years to come, they'll put a lot more effort into making them look good.

@NeirinThere are two addon solutions for this that I use.Closeup: This alters the dressing room window with some more options. A reset, undress, and target button are added. Reset does that, - resets to your current gear. Undress removes all armor, so you can then CTRL+click to see an un-obstructed view of the piece. Target actually puts your target in the dressing room window. Interesting if helping a friend pick fashionable pieces. Undress feature doesn't work on NPCs. ...don't ask why I know this.Mogit: This fantastic trasmog search addon has a bonus feature. Mouse over any piece of gear in your bags or a quest window, and a small rotating box with your character will pop up, wearing just that piece of gear, letting you see what it looks like without extra button clicks.
