Def agree with the concerns about prot warrior. Prot was amazing in Wrath - fast, explosive, and highly mobile. But the rage normalization slowed it down a smidge, and the direction they're going in Mists looks like it's taking even more of the fun out of it.
Sometimes I wonder if the devs even play their own game anymore. Stop fixing what ain't broken! :(

I agree. I love that my prot warrior always has a button to hit. Same with my bear druid. Prot pallies, they all have cooldowns on their buttons, but if you time it right you only have a pause every so often. DKs I could never get the hang of with their runes, so I was having beats all the time where I couldn't cast anything, and that was annoying, so I don't play DKs.
I understand that a no-cooldown, no-cost ability will be spammed like no tomorrow (and is OP) but what's wrong with current rage costs? Don't tanks have enough to worry about without having to keep warily glancing at our resource bar to ensure we have enough for our next survival cooldown? Resource management should be a healer metagame (or arcane mage). We shouldn't have the rage to spam stuff unthinkingly, but we don't. We haven't since Wrath. The way rage was at the beginning of Cata was fine; we just scaled quickly.
