The Queue: Creepiest class combo

An alternative title for today's Queue would be "I Hate Heroic Hagara." Why? Because everyone standing in a cross pattern and being perfect at their positioning is damn hard. That, and I have to click off stamina buffs just to live through the Watery Enchantment, because 12k ticks of damage is a lot easier to live through than 20k ticks. For some reason, that just makes me rage.
Anyway, these are all first-world problems, and I really don't hate heroic Hagara. I love her.
Discol asked:
I am wanting to use the new Real ID raiding feature to organize and lead old-school raids (Molton Core through Icecrown) but the issue is that I don't know where to find people who are willing to do this. Are there Real ID raiding communities springing up anywhere?
Mat wrote an article about this earlier in the month that I'd suggest you check out. I haven't had the opportunity to raid like this yet, but I know some people are really enjoying it. I really think there's a huge opportunity here for social raiding on a regional level. It could be even more interesting if it's ever able to go global.
Krsnik also commented on the issue, and I think it's worth repeating:
Just a heads-up, Reddit.com has started their own cross-realm raiding groups over on reddit. Alliance and Horde have both had great success in raiding content from BC, Wrath and beyond! We're all loving this feature; it feels like it's a fresh breath of air into this seven year-old game.

Puntable asked:
Does anyone think that flying mounts are getting a little bit too large?
I don't think that they're getting too large, but in some ways I do think that they're getting a little too artistic. There is beauty in simplicity, and I'd like to see some simpler flying mounts come out. For instance, I often find myself flying on the old original gryphons.
But that's just my taste.
Puntable also asked:
Since Wrath, leveling gear has had very bland models. Now that we have Transmog, do you think we will see any new interesting green and crafted armor "sets" like they made in Vanilla?
I don't think we'll see a revamp of leveling again any time soon, if ever, so I wouldn't expect that gear to change again. I do think we could see some awesome crafting gear though, especially stuff that's just made to look bad ass and be used for 85 to 90 leveling.
Some people asked on my last Queue:
What'd you do before WoW Insider, Adam?
I worked for the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra, a great community/regional orchestra. I was the production and personnel manager, basically taking care of our musicians and putting on a bunch of big classical concerts. It was an amazing job for a 20-something-year-old, and I don't think I ever learned as much anywhere, including college. If you ever have the opportunity to work for a nonprofit, I suggest you do. You learn how to create amazing things with very few resources, and that makes a for-profit business all the easier.

Best mount ever... they need to make more like it... Death Knights should have their flying mount be a version of this rather than the totally ridiculous bone gryphon.

Unfortunately the Headless Horseman mount still eludes me. As well as the dang green proto. Cracking eggs since wrath and still nothing. Two tanks running weekly since the sack was introduced and I have gotten a pet I already had. ;(

I'm was a human male priest. That isn't very nice to make such assumptions just by our class / race :(

And yet, you still spend all of your time at the Nagrand Orphanarium...

Today's my birthday and it got me thinking it would be cool if Blizz used this information in game, so when my characters walk past a city guard today they would be greeted with a hardy, "Happy Birthday Grimmshot!" or "Have an ale on me!" or for my orc, "So you survived another year. Back to the front lines with you!"
Just a thought.

Happy Birthday to ya, twowolves. :)
It would be pretty cool if NPCs would know it was your birthday and speak accordingly. :)

First of all, Happy Birthday!
My issue with that happening in game is my characters are not me.
It would bug me a lot if all of them had the same birthday--and I almost always play more than one of them a day. That would just feel really odd to me.
For serious role players this might be an even bigger issue because the player's birthday would (probably) not match the one they gave their character at all.

Happy Birthday, TW!!

Better yet, have them say happy birthday on the anniversary of the day the character was rolled.

Happy B-day Twowolves,
I wouldn't mind my toon having their creation date as their birthday. That would be neat.

Hey man, that's racist!
Harold and Kumar references aside, I agree that mounts are getting too styalized. I kinda feel like there's too much emphasis on having an 'old-and-busted-new-hotness' comparison with the basic models. Take the worg mount for instance. The basic worg looks fine, it runs fine, and it really feels like a big, loping wolf. The level 60...sorry, 40 version (old-schooler here) has lots of spikes and armor that just doesn't look quite right to me, and the PvP armored worg just looks excessive.
Same is happening to dragons, which is a shame, because I think there's no finer mount in the entire game than a Nether-drake.

On many toons, I use the old school mounts. Such as the lower level warlock mount, or some of the sabers that used to only go 60% speed. One of the nicer features they put in was that all your mounts scale up to your highest riding skill. Opened up all those earlier mounts that we disregarded because of their slower speed. I think they have lots of untapped skin ideas for mounts. I would love to see some darker colored mounts- dark grey or black, cobalt blue. Someone mentioned a winged Zhevra. Perhaps someday there will be an option to even, dare I say, chose your mount color/skin. I'd pay $25 bucks for that. A customizable mount that can be used by all your toons.

PvP wolves not looking right? duuuuuude.
The old pvp black wolf http://www.wowhead.com/spell=22724 is pretty sweet.
BUT, and this is the kicker, this level 40 ground mount is the best looking ground mount in the game, it's a scientific fact:

I have been using Big Brother to keep track of interrupts, but it does not show when somone interrupts by using a stun spell. What's a mod that will show all interrupts? (Being able to also show misdirects and taunts would be a plus.)

I love transmog, but although well designed, all the gears below Wrath level (and even some Wrath pieces) are horrendously low res and pixelated. Any chance Blizz have hi-res versions of these gears when designing it and simply implement them into the game?
I doubt they'll recreate hi-res version, but during the original designed, they must have work with higher resolution ones.

There was some amazingly looking crafted weaponry back in TBC. Lots of blacksmithing recipes vanished with the Shattering though. Some say Deathwing ate them, some say it happenend when the different BS specializations were combined. What do you think, how high is the chance that these lost recipes show up again, perhaps retrieved by Darkmoon artefact gatherers or found by archeologists in Kung Fu Panda script roll jars?
Twowolves Feb 16th 2012 11:47AM
Ravyncat: Perfectly valid points.
I'll still run with it and suggest it as an option to turn on/off.
