WoW Moviewatch: Raining Frost -- Stormwind Assault
I'm actually kind of excited to meet WazopVids, as I'm looking forward to what he might do in the future. Not much plot rears its head in Raining Frost -- Stormwind Assault, but the video shows a lot of promise in terms of pacing, tension, and graphics.
I loved the diver's HUD graphics. While it doesn't feel very WoW-like, admittedly, it was an effective technique for getting some anticipation and action in the plot. After all, otherwise you could simply sum the action up as "undead falls from sky"; in this version, you get "undead falls from sky with a cool HUD."
WazopVids is working on the next video already. You can see the teaser for it at the end of Raining Frost -- Stormwind Assault, so stick around to get that preview.

I like how he tried to use a depth of field effect with the focus, it's a fairly new effect in video games that I would love to see used in WOW, it makes the game world feel really neat to me. Dragon's Nest and Kingdom's of Amalur are good examples.

Looks like the entire thing was rigged and shot in the modelling program. Nice work.

Really enjoyed this and can't wait for the next! I admit I did actually LOL when the seagull showed up on screen and thought "Oh man, he's gonna hit the bird...YEP. He hit the bird." The facial expression after he pushed the seagull away was great too.
Another LOL moment (what can I say, I'm easily amused) was when the undead was draped over the chair and the parachute popped open. Because that's about how my luck would go too.
The animations didn't seem rigid and fit with the story. I'm very curious to see what's going to happen with him being in Stormwind with a ...very noticeable arrival...

I really liked it, that being said I've got two complaints.
1. Sounds like all the voice work (which was minimal anyway, but still...) was done on a really cheap mic.
2. Falling, he exceded the maximum falling velocity of a human wearing, what I estimate, to be 20lbs or so of gear.
If they had nailed both of these things, I would have been overjoyed. Really good video though, I hope they make more.

The animation syncing in this was fantastic. Well done and deserves more views. Keep making machinima!

One of the best I've seen. I *really* liked the snowboarding Troll.

See Nagrad Arena Showdown. It's short, but I think it shows real promise,
