Breakfast Topic: What pieces would you like to see included in World of Warcraft Monopoly?

Granted, Blizzard's giving us a lot of cool choices, from a metallic murloc to a pewter clockwork gnome. But it feels like we need more options. Where are all the boomkin corpses? And why can't I play as Garrosh? I really want to play as Garrosh.
What do you think about the World of Warcraft Monopoly game? Are there any playing pieces you wish were included but aren't? And of the game pieces that Blizzard wants you to consider for inclusion in WoW Monopoly, which is your favorite?

Mounts. That would have been cool to play as ssay, my Silver covenant Hippogryph. Or that scorpion thing the Horde has. Mounts would have been waaaay cooler than say the winged boot(?). Or a book. I mean seriously blizzard, what are you thinking? "Oh goody i get to be the book."

I'd happily use the book, anyway, It's a spelltome!
As for the boot, I'll agree with you on that. I think it's supposed to represent the Spring icon, but it doesn't carry across so well in 3D.

Well, it's not like the original Monopoly pieces are super exciting either. Who ever picks to be the iron?
jaymccowan13 Feb 18th 2012 9:05AM
The boot is the flight path icon

Well.. the flying boot is paying tribute to the old Monopoly shoe... While not exciting, it does make sense.
And I agree, I think the spellbook is pretty cool. That's the one I voted for on FB. (figured I better vote for the underdog than go with the obvious choices that will make it in)

Perhaps secretly the boot with wings is the booterang that has Kungaloosh splashed on it to give it wings.
And I'd play as the iron, because then I could iron punch the jailer if I went to monopoly jail.

I use the iron because it's short. Occasionally, if you land on a property with houses or a hotel, and your opponent is sitting across the game board from that property, there's a chance they might not notice you're there and not realize to collect rent. My sisters are on to me with this trick, but when playing with other people, I'm surprised how often I get unnoticed.

Blizzards will undoubedly make additional pieces in the form of mounts after the game has been released.
And then charge you $25 for each. =O

I suppose the pieces have to be quite bulky to be cast properly in that medium, although the Mecha-Gnome arms would appear to disagree
When it was announced I was expecting to see a few more non-combat pets, possibly even a Monopoly exclusive one that would join you in game รก la Windrider/Griffon pets.
Perky Pug would be fun, a WoW take on an existing Monopoly piece. I had also expected to see a few mounts, a Kodo and a Ram maybe? Both are pretty iconic WoW concepts.
Class pieces would be cool, using a piece of loot iconic to that class? If you're going to do a Doomhammer, you might as well do a Sulfuras.

Frostmourne, the Skull of Gul`dan, Petrified Magni, Doomhammer, and the Thimble.
Pyromelter Feb 18th 2012 8:33AM
Unless my 3d identification is way off, Doomhammer is already up there, last item on the right.
Blighton Feb 18th 2012 10:18AM
Skull of guldan wasn't one I thought of but would be awesome
Dea ex Machina Feb 18th 2012 8:21AM
Why do -I- always have to be the hearthstone? *grumble*
vegetto375 Feb 18th 2012 8:26AM
I would love to see the Helm of Domination. If you know anyone in this game, is the Lich King and having his helm would be awesome. Also I would rather NOT see Doomhammer, cause is just reminds that Cataclysm wasn't about Deathwing or the aspects or anything else but Thrall and I can't stand Thrall anymore.
Pyromelter Feb 18th 2012 8:27AM
There really should be an orc and human model... i'd suggest thrall and varian. If not them, then at least a frostwolf and a paladin charger.
Also, how can they leave out a tiny abomination in a jar? I think some of the more interesting/descriptive trinkets should be considered. But I swear, I bet people would pay for the whole game if they made a mini TAiaJ.
That all being said.... Dibs on the Doomhammer!
Batleth Feb 18th 2012 8:33AM
Very disappointed in the list of choices. Will it stop me from buying it? No. But they could have done a much better job of selecting pieces. The poster above who suggested mounts, hit the nail on the head.

Metzen's sunglasses

Dibs on the murloc. Mrrrglglll!

Extending on the profession idea, I'd like to see A Basic Campfire make it into the selection, if only as a nod to the community.
