Even his deceased mate refused to help him."Well, even though Ner'zhul sought out the truth from them, I think when you look at spiritual guidance on the whole, there seems to be some sort of law of the universe that says that you HAVE to be pure in spirit in order to be able to receive the assistance of the spirits. Ner'zhul had made a Blood Pact with Kil'jaeden (effectively, in the eyes of the spirits, a deal with the Devil) and in doing so had lost his spiritual connection.And apparently all the other shamans actually weren't very good at what they do... or chose to ignore the warnings.
