Our guild does a bunch of group activities from time to time - my favorites have been the baby Tauren race to Orgrimmar (back when it was still possible to go through the Barrens) and our Naked Molten Core run (your CHARACTERS are naked; I don't want to know what everyone else is wearing, thanks)

I tend not to enjoy things in groups of over 40 - my computer goes slideshow. Having 10-30 people in a player-run activity is just about perfect for me, which is why I prefer guild things to server-wide foofaraws.
