It wasn't that long ago that Miranda was a girl, presumably a child, that our heroes were searching for to rescue. When did she become a woman?

I picture Miranda as somewhere at old-enough-you-don't-need-to-feel-bad but too-young-for-any-of-her-groupmates, if you follow me. But because I'm an old fart (relatively) with progressive values, I get caught up in all the weird objectification and denigration involved in the difference between "girl" and "woman," so I rotate them mentally to avoid trouble.
