In my opinion, the movement toward 10 man raiding rather than 25man is more about raiding with friends than it is about difficulty or lack of incentive. In 25 man raids, for the most part only a few people can speak on vent because so much more coordination is required. And there's so many people, you're not really friends with everyone in raid.10man on the other hand, is much more conducive to raiding with friends. 10 people is manageable. We can all talk on vent and have fun, be recognizable, and still accomplish what we need to without overtaking raid leaders.I raided both 10 and 25 in Wrath when we could do both. I far, far prefer my small 10man guild now. We're all friends who raid together. We don't have to put up with a bunch of people we don't like just to field 25 people. And we all get a chance to talk and enjoy the social aspects of WoW.
