The Queue: Awesome music

I was recently thinking about the music of WoW and how awesome it is, even the old stuff.
Thus, this Queue is dedicated to awesome music.
DarkSpade asked:
Is there any reason why my rogue has all kinds of frame rate issues that my other toons don't? My paladin can pull whole instances when farming for transmog, but my rogue hits 3 fps every other trash pull when running 5 mans. From time to time I get an error saying one of my addons is running in to a lot of errors(naturally it won't say which add on), but I run the same mods on every toon. My rogue runs even less than the others.
Chances are it's a problem with an addon that is doing something special for your rogue. Make sure you have everything updated. That usually solves things for me.
If that doesn't work, however, turn off all your addons and then start turning them on one by one. Eventually you'll find the offending culprit.
Zost asked:
Has there any news, rumors or whispers on the WoW movie?
There has been absolutely nothing new about the WoW movie. All we know really is that Sam Raimi is slated to direct it (but it's been so long since anything has been said, who knows at this point).
Batleth asked:
I'm going to start writing a humorous (and hopefully informative) blog about my experience in the WoW Ironman Challenge. Would this be something that WoW Insider would be interested in? To whom should I send samples?
You can always send in tips and we'll take a look. We get a lot each day and can't promise we'll feature it, but then again ... who knows!
Brian asked:
Will we ever be able to turn off the visual effects of enhants? I mean they are cool but it can ruin a look you may be going for. Or the enchant, such as mending can be really in your face and annoying.
It's something Blizzard is working on. As for when it'll be available, no idea.
Josh asked:
I may go to S. Korea and teach english there for a year. Should i server transfer to a South Korean/Australian server or will the South Korean server be in Korean and will the Australian one work for me?
You can transfer your character to a different region. You can transfer your NA character to an Oceanic server because that's in the same region -- that might work for you. But you can't bring your character to any South Korean-specific servers. If you want to play on a different region's servers, you'll need to re-buy the game in that region, re-level, and so on.

Has there been an official mention to when the Press Tour for MoP will start?
Doffencrag Feb 28th 2012 11:10AM
"Today, we're inviting members of the press worldwide to get an updated sneak peek and some hands-on time with the latest version of World of Warcraft's fourth expansion at an event taking place March 13 - 15."
sead Feb 28th 2012 11:15AM
@Doffencrag
Thanks I must have totally skipped over that.
Thander Feb 28th 2012 4:17PM
We still may not get any information for a little while after. Blizzard had a press embargo on the Diablo 3 press event, which prevented fansites from announcing the beta until Blizzard did it formally on their official sites.

I'd try to hunt for something that is tracking combo points or energy since those are the biggest differences between rogues and everyone else (barring feral druids).
Nathanyel Feb 28th 2012 11:47AM
The default interface does display them, you know.
Other than that, X-Perl has a neat CP display, and even shows druid mana while in feral forms (though not energy while in caster)
For yet another way of tracking CPs, I suggest InlineAura, which displays them as a number on the actual action buttons of CP consuming abilities.

The OP was responding to the question in the queue about addons dropping frame rate, not which ones to use.
Nathanyel Feb 28th 2012 12:32PM
My bad, misread that comment :B

I'm a big fan of Rogue Focus Classic. It's been abandoned, but someone updated it to 1.3.1, the link to download is http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/rogue-focus-classic/repositories/dridzt_rfc_cata/files/
Small movable box of bars on your screen that shows your health, number of combo points, your energy regen, and your target's health. In spite of being outdated, it works very well.

I actually had a very similar issue with my Shaman a couple weeks ago, during Love is in the Air when I was farming an instance for love charms. I did exactly as the Queue suggests today by disabling my add-ons and gradual enabling them to see which one was causing the issue.
To my great surprise, Deadly Boss Mods was the add-on that was causing the massive frame-rate drop whenever I'd pull a couple mobs. It was very weird since I'd been farming charms in the same place just the night before with no issues, and there were no patches that I knew of. (Although, it's possible that a hotfix patch downloaded in the background while I played that I just didn't notice...) I ended up going into my add-on folder and completely deleting DBM, then reinstalling it. I didn't have any issues after that. It was odd.

Check out the addon Hear Kitty. Rather than fill my screen with graphics, I love this addon because it provides you combo point (and holy power!) information audibly by playing tones. After a while, it becomes second-nature to know your level just by listening... and it feels like its always been part of the game :)
davidtfricker Feb 28th 2012 3:28PM
A while ago i had a similar issue, it just turned out that i hadn't reset recount for a while on 1 toon, so it was storing a lot of data.

Who is taking a break from WoW to play ME3? One more week, baby!
Nina Katarina Feb 28th 2012 11:17AM
Meh. If it doesn't have swords and spells I don't really care. ME3 leaves me cold. Star Wars had a chance to break that mold, but in the end there were too many robots, not enough Jedi Mind Tricks.
But I hope it's a great game for you and that you enjoy your WoW break.
eel5pe Feb 28th 2012 11:36AM
Totally stoked.
One of the things I really appreciate with this release is that in contrast to other games (ahem WoW) Bioware has really done a good job of keeping a clamp on spoilers.
The only bad thing is that release day is also a raid night... talk about dilemma.
*on vent*
me: *kaff kaff* sorry guys I'm not feeling well tonight I don't think I can raid
others: why do we hear gunfire in the background?
Bapo Feb 28th 2012 11:53AM
While it isn't anywhere near the reason I'm taking a break, it will help. I haven't played the first two, but it's something I'm willing to try out, plus, I really like the multiplayer.
deymorin Feb 28th 2012 1:03PM
My xbox red-ringed a few weeks ago.... :(
jfofla Feb 28th 2012 2:06PM
In seven years I have never felt a need to spend money or time on another game.
Miskatonic Feb 28th 2012 4:03PM
OH MAN YES. I won't be taking a break from WoW so much as setting my entire life aside until I DESTROY THE REAPERS. ALL OF THEM. The multiplayer will be nice, too.
David.Blake Feb 28th 2012 5:19PM
@bapo:
I cannot place enough emphasis on my recommendation that you play the first 2 games before playing the third. I don't care if you don't get through them by March 6. Starting with part 3 is like jumping into a sweet trilogy by starting on book 3--only worse. If you care about story in games even in the least bit, you are doing yourself a huge disservice (IMO, obviously) by not playing the first two because they are both so epically awesome.
No other game trilogy I am aware of deserves this sort of disclaimer, so it's kind of counter-intuitive. But if you play them in order you can enjoy them all at face value. That's 3x the fun! If you play 3 first, it will seriously diminish your enjoyment of the first 2 (if you decide to play them). Also, if you play 1 and 2 first, it will enhance your playthrough of 3 immensely. . I played the demo and I was giddy with Joy to see one of the characters return as a prominent castmember. Don't rob yourself of the experience. It's 100% worth it.
Disclaimer: if you are just in it for a good shooter, go ahead and just play 3. We RPG nuts will just mourn silently for you.
