The Queue: Awesome music

I was recently thinking about the music of WoW and how awesome it is, even the old stuff.
Thus, this Queue is dedicated to awesome music.
DarkSpade asked:
Is there any reason why my rogue has all kinds of frame rate issues that my other toons don't? My paladin can pull whole instances when farming for transmog, but my rogue hits 3 fps every other trash pull when running 5 mans. From time to time I get an error saying one of my addons is running in to a lot of errors(naturally it won't say which add on), but I run the same mods on every toon. My rogue runs even less than the others.
Chances are it's a problem with an addon that is doing something special for your rogue. Make sure you have everything updated. That usually solves things for me.
If that doesn't work, however, turn off all your addons and then start turning them on one by one. Eventually you'll find the offending culprit.
Zost asked:
Has there any news, rumors or whispers on the WoW movie?
There has been absolutely nothing new about the WoW movie. All we know really is that Sam Raimi is slated to direct it (but it's been so long since anything has been said, who knows at this point).
Batleth asked:
I'm going to start writing a humorous (and hopefully informative) blog about my experience in the WoW Ironman Challenge. Would this be something that WoW Insider would be interested in? To whom should I send samples?
You can always send in tips and we'll take a look. We get a lot each day and can't promise we'll feature it, but then again ... who knows!
Brian asked:
Will we ever be able to turn off the visual effects of enhants? I mean they are cool but it can ruin a look you may be going for. Or the enchant, such as mending can be really in your face and annoying.
It's something Blizzard is working on. As for when it'll be available, no idea.
Josh asked:
I may go to S. Korea and teach english there for a year. Should i server transfer to a South Korean/Australian server or will the South Korean server be in Korean and will the Australian one work for me?
You can transfer your character to a different region. You can transfer your NA character to an Oceanic server because that's in the same region -- that might work for you. But you can't bring your character to any South Korean-specific servers. If you want to play on a different region's servers, you'll need to re-buy the game in that region, re-level, and so on.

No, that did not come to mind when I saw the picture, but now that you've MENTIONED it, my mind will gleefully provide the lines: "Believe! Believe! The dragonborn comes!" to me randomly throughout the rest of the day. Thanks. =P

Regarding the S.Korea question. I play on EU servers and for the last year I was playing from Japan with nearly no problems. Granted, you have to accept you will have 200-300 ms ping, but with recent improvements on the client side of things I barely even notice it.
The only problem I had was getting banned for a day for "exploiting the economy" only because the system thought I'm suspicious for playing a EU account from a japanese IP. One angry ticket and I could play again :P And the GM was even nice enough to add a notice to my account that I'm in Japan so this won't happen again.

Is Bad Romance the new Rickroll?
Here I was, expecting it to link to David Arkenstone's work, given the header image.

Bad Romance is a war crime.

In reference to question 1: when diagnosing addons don't turn them on/off one by one. That will just take forever. Do a binary search. Turn off half the addons, check to see if the problem still exists. Congrats, you're now eliminated half the addons instead of just one. If the problem went away you know the culprit is in the half you disabled, if not it's in the half you left enabled. Now just narrow down that half, try again, etc. until you're down the the one addon that's causing the problem.

Is there an add-on, macro, API, whatever that will let you list all auctions where the buyout price is less than the vendor price for that item? If so, can you add a bit of complexity like "show me all ore selling for less than the vendor price of the prospected mats"? Seems to happen often enough and it'd be nice to snatch them all up and immediately vendor them.
Nathanyel Feb 28th 2012 11:52AM
It sounds possible, but the addon would have to browse all auctions, and then compare them all against their individual sell prices.
adamjgp Feb 28th 2012 3:35PM
auctioneer will do this. There is a 'vendor' matching rule that will scan through the AH and give you a popup window to bid/buy the item that is listed below vendor price.

When I hear words like "awesome music", I think of anthems from when we were young and stupid...

"From time to time I get an error saying one of my addons is running in to a lot of errors(naturally it won't say which add on)..."
"If that doesn't work, however, turn off all your addons and then start turning them on one by one. Eventually you'll find the offending culprit."
Why is it like this? Don't get me wrong, I love my addons, I have 200-some if you count all the individual pieces/plugins that make up an addon (like DBM for example), but why can't the game tell us which addon is causing the problem? Is the game not capable of determining this or does Blizzard just find amusement in making us hunt & peck for it?
When you have as many addons as I do, turning them off and on one at a time and reloading the UI each time is a huge pain in the ass. There really needs to be a better way to debug addon problems, apart from just not using any. Sigh.

Check out the earlier comment about doing the 'binary search'. Turn off half, then try. If it was fixed, you know its somewhere in the half you turned off. Then turn on half of that group that was turned off and try. Repeat until you can figure out which one.
