The Queue: Awesome music

I was recently thinking about the music of WoW and how awesome it is, even the old stuff.
Thus, this Queue is dedicated to awesome music.
DarkSpade asked:
Is there any reason why my rogue has all kinds of frame rate issues that my other toons don't? My paladin can pull whole instances when farming for transmog, but my rogue hits 3 fps every other trash pull when running 5 mans. From time to time I get an error saying one of my addons is running in to a lot of errors(naturally it won't say which add on), but I run the same mods on every toon. My rogue runs even less than the others.
Chances are it's a problem with an addon that is doing something special for your rogue. Make sure you have everything updated. That usually solves things for me.
If that doesn't work, however, turn off all your addons and then start turning them on one by one. Eventually you'll find the offending culprit.
Zost asked:
Has there any news, rumors or whispers on the WoW movie?
There has been absolutely nothing new about the WoW movie. All we know really is that Sam Raimi is slated to direct it (but it's been so long since anything has been said, who knows at this point).
Batleth asked:
I'm going to start writing a humorous (and hopefully informative) blog about my experience in the WoW Ironman Challenge. Would this be something that WoW Insider would be interested in? To whom should I send samples?
You can always send in tips and we'll take a look. We get a lot each day and can't promise we'll feature it, but then again ... who knows!
Brian asked:
Will we ever be able to turn off the visual effects of enhants? I mean they are cool but it can ruin a look you may be going for. Or the enchant, such as mending can be really in your face and annoying.
It's something Blizzard is working on. As for when it'll be available, no idea.
Josh asked:
I may go to S. Korea and teach english there for a year. Should i server transfer to a South Korean/Australian server or will the South Korean server be in Korean and will the Australian one work for me?
You can transfer your character to a different region. You can transfer your NA character to an Oceanic server because that's in the same region -- that might work for you. But you can't bring your character to any South Korean-specific servers. If you want to play on a different region's servers, you'll need to re-buy the game in that region, re-level, and so on.

Cool - thanks for the help for those of us that won't be home til quite a bit later...
The patch seems pretty uninteresting ('cept for having to replace the 64-bit client, which is kind of a pain, but I knew what I was signing up for when they published it as a beta). I'd hate for it to wreck my raid tonight. :)
All that said - I'm usually very good about making sure I've logged in early and patched up appropriately... it's just relying on 9 other people to all do that will sometimes disappoint you. In my experience.
Noyou Feb 28th 2012 1:31PM
It took less than 3 min on a slow broadband connection. it's not big at all. However if you have the 64 bit client enabled you are going to have to get rid of it before or the patch won't download/work.

after seeing the Hobbit trailer, i'd rather have Peter Jackson make a WoW movie (even if people see it as a LotR clone) then Sam Raimi, especially after spider man 3....
Cambro Feb 28th 2012 1:06PM
Which will happen sooner: a Warcraft movie, or an updated comment system?
slim1256 Feb 28th 2012 1:27PM
How about option C - Earth crashing into Sun?
Cause right now, I'm inclined to say "Option C"
Doffencrag Feb 28th 2012 2:09PM
Both. Since they will happen...
...soon™.
Blazing Rain Feb 28th 2012 10:33PM
@ slim: Statistically the earth will never crash into the sun. So are you saying that there will never be a new comment system or WoW movie?
Batleth Feb 28th 2012 1:29PM
Did I completely miss the point made regarding old PvP sets and Transmog? As in you can't use them....?
Granted you can buy complete lvl 60 PvP sets for minimal honor points, but it was a little disappointing to find out you can't keep that look.
Ata Feb 28th 2012 1:44PM
Getting the title that they tied to the lvl 60 gear was probably the hardest thing to do in Vanilla WoW, and that's on top of trying to get 40 people together to raid. It was the original grind, and not only that, you could lose your title to someone else grinding and killing more people than you.
Scarab Lord was 'I have less lag than you!'. PVP titles took some pretty extreme dedication to earning your spot as the guy who killed the most people, some guilds took turns playing the same account so the guy the toon belonged to could get some sleep. Yes, at some points it required playing almost non-stop.
I was kinda irked at first about them restricting it like that, because it's pretty fantastic gear. But I started thinking about it as Blizzard's way of apologizing to the original Grand Marshal/High Warlord's for the hell they had to go through.

I wish I could transmog visual effects of enchants. Mongoose on all the things!

My Water Shield Buffs no longer show up in the Default Bilzzard UI. I have turned off all addons. (earth shield does but not my water shield charges).
This happened as of the last big patch.
I've put in tickets, but they said it's my add ons. But still a problem even after turning off all add ons.
Are there any resto shamans that still see their water shield buff?
Shinae Feb 28th 2012 2:18PM
Nope. The same thing happened to me, and I know it doesn't have to do with addons because I don't use any unit frames addons. Sounds like you just got the default response.
Draelan Feb 28th 2012 3:07PM
I'll have to double-check once my client finishes patching today (Since my Shammy has spent most of the time in Elemental spec for leveling) but I could have sworn I wasn't having any issues seeing Water Shield displayed...
Lichtj Feb 28th 2012 7:46PM
I'm currently living in Seoul S. Korea and the internet here is blazing fast. I play my character on Feathermoon with less lag than I did in the States usually. Worth trying out anyway.
Rich Feb 28th 2012 9:49PM
To Josh re: server change.
If you're Australian don't worry about it. Some friends and I are living in Beijing playing on an Oceeanic server. Aside from the fact that we're 2 hours ahead (3 during daylight savings) its not a problem. You'll be further ahead in SKor which will mess with raid times though. Lag isn't a hugh problem, even in the Peoples Republic of Slow Internet.

What are the Dark Rangers, are they undead night elves, that just did not get turned into banshees? I've read many, but not all of the novels, and I don't remember any lore of them.
Task Feb 29th 2012 2:48AM
@Rob
They are undead elves like Sylvanas, they don't explicitly say if they are Night, Blood or High Elves, the majority are the latter High elves. An explanation of it is found on Wowpedia.
The best summarized explanation I can give is that the majority are women and formerly banshees as well who've regained physical form. They will not teach the Dark Ranger skills to those who are not elves themselves, though the only exception is Nathanos Blightcaller.
Hope that helps.
Task, member of Team Robert/Hasbrouck
Killik Feb 29th 2012 4:52AM
Historically, they are former Rangers of Quel'Thalas so undead High Elves (the Blood Elves didn't exist then). Blightcaller was the only human to ever become a QT ranger lord and he also became a Dark Ranger in undeath.
Sylvanas is their leader and has moulded them very much in her own image, so membership is likely to remain predominantly undead female High/Blood Elf along with a few highly exceptional individuals who have impressed the Banshee Queen.

@DarkSpade: If you get "Interface action failed because of an AddOn" message, you could try to write in chat
/console taintlog 1
When you quit the game you should find in /Logs file named taint and there should be info which addon causes problem.
