They may have fixed it, but there was a small bug with the Mac 64 bit client when it was first posted. The unzipped file was named:

World of Warcraft 64.app

but the launcher expects it to be:

World of Warcraft-64.app

The fix is to simply rename the file to have the dash between "Warcraft" and "64".
