The curve on Defense and Power is not going to be anywhere near as high as the curve on resilience that exists today. People in ilvl 400 gear are still going to wipe the floor with people in ilvl 333 gear, it's just that it'll be easier to start out in PVE and get gear that is somewhat close to what PVP'ers have, unlike today, where someone in ilvl 400 PVE epics is almost as weak and frail as someone in 333 gear.
