Related Side Note: One of my proudest geek moments this year was at an afternoon meeting where there are usually refreshments. A few folks were commenting that the person who was supposed to provide snacks was not there, and he had claimed to be bringing a fantastic cake.I couldn't help myself. Moments like this just don't happen.I casually slid into the conversation, "So, the cake was a lie, huh?"They frowned, but nodded, and one of them even said "Yeah, I guess the cake's a lie," without even a hint that they knew the meme.I kept a straight face, but I was giggling like a fool internally for quite a while afterwards.
