New FCM Plan to Aggra (Português)
We are happy to announce our new Free Character Migration plan regarding the realm dedicated to the Portuguese community, Aggra.
As previously announced, in order to allow more players to join the Portuguese community on their dedicated realm, we will be opening additional FCMs to Aggra (Português) for a period of four weeks.
We will be opening migrations from 10 different source realms per week. Each of these migrations will be active for one week only. At the end of the week, those migrations will close and players will be able to migrate from the next 10 source realms. This will continue until FCMs have been applied to all 40 realms listed below.
From March 7 until March 14, you will be able to move your characters from the following source realms to Aggra (Português):
We would also like to remind you that the current FCM will be closed on the morning of March 7.

Its a portuguese realm but we do have some foreign people around.
If you can get past not understanding anything in trade you should have no problem.
Actually, not understanding anything in trade seems more like a plus...

*Nothing about this report, which I get. Just general thoughts on realm transfers, etc...
- Realm mergers please.
or
- 1 free realm transfer every 3/6 months/year or so. Not our fault we picked a bad realm (*probably at the games suggestion when we started playing) only to realize that it's totally dead at end game.
or
- Stop taking advantage of your customers with these 'premium features' such as paid realm transfers. A service mostly used by people who cannot get the playing experience they want or even continue through true end game because of low population/inactivity on their realm. Allow us to raid current content and pvp with whoever we want via RealID/Raid Finder/etc... The technology is there, just take the limiter off of it and let us use it!

You get 50 toons per account. Nothing stopping you from rolling on any server. You should get a good feel for your server by the time you get your first toon to 50-60. I do agree they should give out free transfers/customizations for valued customers. Maybe 1 per year. Especially for all those people who have played 5-7 years.

I WISH they would do free server transfers. I quit playing 6 months ago due to the fact that my server was dead and had no progression (for reference, the realm first kill of cho'gall was halfway through 4.2). I keep up with the news hoping that they open up free transfers off my server, cause that's the only thing that will bring me back to the game. I loved playing, but dropping $25 just to get 1 of my mains transferred in order to play on an active server isn't something I'm willing to do.

Just curious- would you come back if you could roll a new toon, starting at level 55 or 65? An Idea that I had about Blizzard making this available in the future. I'm not talking about a DK but any class. If that was a new feature, would it bring you back?

Honestly, it wouldn't. I hate the leveling process. The only reason I had two mains at level 85 was because my guild couldn't down a T11 boss so I had nothing else to do besides finishing leveling my pally from 55.

Kinda... from what we understood when we transfered our guild, you have to pay but if after you contact blizzard costumers service you will be refunded the money.
Everything seemed kinda complicated so our GM just payed and told us to shut up :X

Hmm, well Xavius[EU] wasn't even on the list. I guess there are no Portuguese people on my server. Oh that's right, there's hardly anyone on the server.
I wish Blizz would merge servers. Or enable free server-/faction transfers.
Or actually, make x-realm AH.

Realm mergers are bad PR. I'd love Hellfire EU to be merged with another low pop server, prefferably one Horde heavy so that we'd be balanced out. I cant see mergers happening though, i once read the 2 lowest pop realms have a combined pop far greater than the current realm capacity. Not sure if thats still true or not

There's also the possibility of growth again with Mists as well as future expansions... it would be really bad if blizz had to re-open new servers because they consolidated some now.
And if you don't believe me, I'm telling you all, you just don't know how many people want to be pandas. I know the hardcore whiners cry about it, but the blizzard knows they are going to get a pop, at least just from people who want to roll around in a game with a panda. For every one person that cries about panda-men being the day wow jumps the shark, there's going to be 10 people that are going to sign up just to play one.
Europe is in a particularly rough spot right now, economically, so I wouldn't be surprised to see subscription numbers drop off there this year in general.

Finnally, i can transfer a couple of characters to my native language server and save the trouble of deleting my high level characters for my future pandas.
And another thing: during the last months, only 5 servers were avainable to do the transfer per week. The fact that they increased the number of realms and showed the schedule for the whole month means they thought about the portuguese comunity and made a better plan for the FCMs.
