Well, since Velen secretly accepted Sargeras' offer of demonic power and he has been secretly leading the unwitting draenei across the universe in an attempt to find intelligent life and sacrifice it to the Legion (think Silver Surfer / Galactus relationship), I'd say Velen would definitely call upon all the powers of darkness to win the battle.

Sylvanas, on the other hand, would make sure that her people safely evacuated the site of such a horrible, horrible battle.
