Last Week In WoW: Reapers edition
WoW news is still a little sparse as we wait for the Mists of Pandaria press event, but don't think we're in a drought here. Ghostcrawler gave us some inside info on new stat changes coming to the game, Dave "Fargo" Kosak talked about Cataclysm quest design, and as always, we had lots of analysis and information of our own to do. Dear Warcraft: As you know, the universe needs saving and Azeroth is part of the universe. I now board the Normandy to blast ugly insect things and make love to beautiful alien women for a while. I killed Deathwing months ago so you should be good for a bit. But trust me, I'm doing this for you. I will be back, I promise.
Maybe Wednesday.
Of next week.
Sincerely,
FemShep

That's a neat trailer. It bears a certain similarity to Lyndon B Johnson's "Daisy" ad of 1964 - any opinions on whether that's coincidental or on purpose?
Also, will Mass Effect ever reach the Mac? One of the reasons I've been, and am, so loyal to Blizzard is that they're one of the very few companies that bothers releasing their games for Macintosh.

Tuesdays...the bane of my existence (and my coworkers). I'm generally in a much better mood after I spend my morning slaughtering internet monsters. So, why is it that the one morning I have to put up with my mother (something that is guaranteed to put me in a foul mood) is the same morning I'm forced to work on my novel (the second thing sure to put me in a dark mood as I get frustrated with how slow/bad it is very easily).
We really need to move these days to Wednesday.

The Emily Wong twitter event was really amazing and heartbreaking, far more than the trailers' hamfisted attempts to make me feel bad by threatening kids.

i will take a lot of flak for saying, in public, that EA and BioWare can go EABOD RE: no steam availability, yes?
because they can. and should.
/subscribing to enough horrific DRMs as it is. NOT subscribing to the origin system in all its malware-laden glory just to finish mass effect.
of course i doubt that this post will even make it out of moderation. go figure, get critical about things around here for a few posts...
