a free anniversary pet and/or a (useless) tabard for being a loyal subscriber for the past 6 or so years = a FREE mount + a FREE upgrade to Cataclysm + a FREE faction and server transfer + 80 FREE levels + 7 FREE days of play time.

Let's do the math on this one:

One mount: $25 (assuming you purchased it in the blizzard store)
Cataclysm expansion: $40
Free Faction Change + Server Transfer: $25 + $30
7 days of free play time: $15/4 = $3.75
Total: $123.75

At $15.00/month that comes out to 8.25 months worth of game time that someone get's for free. Plus that doesn't even include the $10 for a name change in the event that the server you transferred to already has a character on it with your name OR the price for WotLK in the event that the person receiving the scroll doesn't have it yet.

I'm as much a fan of Blizzard as anyone and I love their games, but this just feels like a kick in the face for those of us who loyally pay our monthly fee.
