I got an email from Blizzard saying, 'Last chance to claim your game time... offer expires Monday, March 5th' - they gave me a free 7 days since I had been unsubscribed for a few months. I thought, 'Hey! What a great way to check it out and maybe get back in to it!' Now this comes out... :( Did they trick me!?

I'm not sure if I'm still eligible since I haven't paid for any game time, but I guess my account is technically active now?

No. The free 7 days doesn't count. If you go into your account management page, it still says you're unsubscribed. You could participate in this if you wanted to.
