The answer about difficulty of dungeons and raids suggests that Blizzard themselves managed to miss the point entirely. We spent a year wrecking dungeons in gear anything from 32 to 64 ilvls higher than Wrath's, and our complaint largely was that doing that turned the dungeons into AOE fests. While some people asked for CC and all of that, most of us were saying "man, when you outgear the hell out of these dungeons, they get boring."So Blizzard's brilliant response was redesign almost every aspect of PVE, but especially healing, because when we got geared healing and tanking were EZ mode, and make the dungeons long slogs that were incredibly cheap in terms of mechanics, and then make every raid essentially unpuggable for months. Compare Magmaw, Halfus, and the Conclave to the initial bosses of Wrath; even Argaloth, the boss MEANT to be pugged, required decent DPS and healers that didn't run out of mana. You don't get to blame us for the difficulty of the Cata heroics. We didn't ask for trash packs that could wipe you, bosses that required perfect composition, or bosses that could one shot you if you lagged at the wrong time. What we really wanted was another dungeon tier between 3.3 and 4.0. What you gave us was a pain in the ass.
