not to be a total douche about stuff, but to get those crazy ridiculous achievements, you have to kill some of those great hunter pets. Anyone going for an achievement like that is probably not going to give it up for 100 or 1000 or even 100,000 gold, because it can seriously take a long, long time to find some of of those mobs. Time can be much more important commodity than gold for people (see Allie's trials and tribulations with Mr. Pinchy and the archaeology claw).Sometimes you can't help but kill one of those pets. First time I leveled through northrend, I was level 77 or so in Sholazar Basin, doing the quest where you have to get some crystals by the river in the south part of the zone. I turn around one of the big rock-hills and BOOM this huge freaking t-rex crashes right on top of me. Fortunately I was leveling as frost, and didn't get insta-killed... was able to blink away and use l33t mage skills, thing almost got me, I was like holy crap. wtf. so then I looted it and there was this bag that gave me some cloth and a ton of gold and a blue.It was only later that I was like... oh crap I just killed King Krush O.o.So... while yeah, you want to be cool to the hunters farming for neat pets, sometimes you gotta just attack.
