I play dedicated DPS. Always have, always will. My main is a shaman and I've never had a main-spec healing role. For about a week I had heals as my off-spec. Tried it once, hated it and went back to DPS and never looked back.
For the record, my husband has been a main-spec healer for years and heals on all of his characters.
My female friends and I (all of whom are either DPS or DPS/Tank) like to joke, "Healin' is men's work!"
