I started this game years ago as a dps, then tried healing since my raid group needed to, but I ended up loving tanking the most. Dk, pally and druid tanking.
Not all of women (myself included) give a damn about "nurturing" and not all of us are "maternal". I also don't see why healing has to be treated like something "easy" when it is not, specially when MALE dps (I mean, since we are using generalizations) like to stand on things to top the meters.
"Easy", lol.

I enjoy healing, but I'm definitely not maternal. I'll be 40 in a few weeks, and my husband and I don't have any children, and don't intend on having any. It's like the maternal instinct is totally absent in me. But I do enjoy healing. So I don't think it is linked with being maternal. Then again, I'm a sample size of one, so not terribly significant. :P
