Blue Posts: A 'plethora of information' is coming

Don't forget to check out The Daily Quest and our Weekly Podcast Roundup to find out what else is going on in the WoW community. And if you have a news tip, feel free to drop us a line and let us know.
Blue posts
There will be plenty of information coming out of the press tour. This week, is all about getting that information to the media and fansites so they can show you what they've learned next week. I am not going to get into specifics of what is going to be covered, but you can be assured, it's what some would call a plethora of information.
It's been quite a while since we've shared information regarding our forum MVP program. If you frequent Blizzard forums you've no doubt seen jade text stamped across threads here and there. Those with the power to wield green words are regular players - just like you - who've been recognized for their contributions to the forums in one way or another. And since we want to provide these player advocates with the resources they need to continue being awesome posters, MVPs have direct lines of contact with Blizzard community managers.
Now the time has come to bolster the MVP ranks. Those chosen for the program aren't official representatives of Blizzard, and they don't have to agree with every decision we make. They also aren't expected to give up their posting personas in order to join. Our goal is to find frequent posters who are a positive influence on the gaming community in some form, whether it be through posting strategy guides or tips on various aspects of gameplay, or even just bringing a positive and constructive tone to the forums when socializing with their peers.
If you or someone you know fits the description of a Most Valuable Poster as laid out in the MVP FAQ, email us at Community-EN@Blizzard.com. We select MVPs based on a large set of criteria, so don't be discouraged from putting your name out there if you only post on, say, the Protoss Discussion or DPS Class Role forums. MVPs are welcome to post wherever they're comfortable, including across the Diablo III, StarCraft II, and World of Warcraft forums.
But remember! The key to being a strong candidate is having a solid posting history. We're always on the lookout for the next shining beacon of good within the community to join the illustrious ranks of our MVPs.

"A plethora?"
Cambro Mar 12th 2012 10:08PM
Si, El Guapo! A huge plethora!
Noyou Mar 12th 2012 11:09PM
It's like the scene in raiders of the lost ark where they put the box in a room full of boxes. :) Plethora = more than you can imagine :P
Duerma Mar 12th 2012 11:52PM
@Noyou - I think he's confused because you usually have a plethora of countable items. So, a plethora of pets, a plethora of facts, a plethora of cool things to tell us, but a "plethora of information" sounds odd because you can't count information.
Luke Mar 13th 2012 12:46AM
The definition of plethora is "in excess" which can be determined by counting but is not limited to countable things.
When I read "A plethora?", I understand it to mean "how can there be too much information?". Because that's what the poster has asked.
Devin Mar 13th 2012 1:06AM
I think you all need to go see Three Amigos....
RuzGofDI Mar 13th 2012 1:36AM
@Devin - That they do.
Luke Mar 13th 2012 2:01AM
Forgive me guapo but "A Plethora?" isn't a quote from that film... anyone who reads the original comment doesn't have context because the quote is both vague and not correct.
"Would you say I have a plethora of pinatas?"
"A What?"
Snuzzle Mar 12th 2012 10:05PM
A plethora you say? Perhaps even a deluge? A glut? An overabundance? A bountiful haul?
Most splendid!
Adam Holisky Mar 12th 2012 10:10PM
Indubitably!
celtspatssox Mar 13th 2012 1:23AM
i dare say a cornucopia!!!!!
Snuzzle Mar 13th 2012 8:28AM
Ooh. Good one. :)
Philster043 Mar 12th 2012 10:05PM
I like the word plethora in conjuction with information concerning Blizzard news very much.
Magma Mar 12th 2012 10:43PM
So who wants to guess how much stuff will be leaked out despite the NDA?
Noyou Mar 12th 2012 11:10PM
Since the thing is tomorrow, I am going to say nothing is going to be leaked. I think blizzard will be providing the coloring book of info- then the journalists who are covering it will fill in the colors, so to speak. They can report on the info blizzard makes public, which should be a good amount. I don't think we will see many screen shots until 19th when they said they will reveal the female model of the Pandaren.
raingod Mar 12th 2012 11:48PM
@Noyou Agreed, especially if those journalists want to get anything from Blizzard ever again.
Snuzzle Mar 13th 2012 8:22AM
It's not like the website who posts the leaked info is gonna give up their source...
The leaks will come. They always do.

Sorry for just the link without an explanation.
It's to the clip from Three Amigos.
Goes past the "plethora" exchange into what El Whappo really wants ... yeah .. sex.
Boozard Mar 12th 2012 11:20PM
Cambro wins for the obscure Three Amigos reference
