To be honest the feeling of a lack of community has been exactly what has turned me off of WoW recently and one of the main reasons I quit. I know I'm in the minority but the Dungeon and Raid Finder as well as combining the lockouts basically killed the sense of community I had, as now you are encourage NOT to find people on your realm but use the systems they have in place.
