Couldn't agree more, and I feel bad that weather is isolated to specific zones as opposed to being spread across every different zone, like an actual season. I'd like to be able to FEEL like it's winter when I travel the world as opposed to having to step in Dun Morogh to get a taste of snow when it should be winter everywhere.It would also help give a feel of how much time has passed in-game in relation to world events and patches if you could actually see the seasons pass. Like, "oh, Firelands began just before July, and Dragon Soul came out just before December, so Firelands lasted through Summer and ended near the last of Fall, witih Dragon Soul lasting through winter and early spring..."
