One thing I've seen a lot of people talk about is how transmogrification conflicts with questing; specifically Loremaster. No joke, it's almost to the point where I completely avoid Classic/Burning Crusade quests because the probability of missing or vendoring a unique model/look is so high it just isn't worth the risk. Which sucks, because I'd love to finish all the quests without having to stop every 2 minutes to perform in-depth Wowhead model comparisons on each reward. :\

Yea. My loremaster is the only toon I have that is in an actual tier set. It sucks. One of my toons is also going to have to change his outfit because it's impossible to get the boots, because of that exact problem.I wish Blizzard would enable a $15 character quest-wipe where we could have all the games quests available to us again, while maintaining reputation and achievements. It would rock in some specific circumstances. Side-Note: THANK GOD I enjoy PvP leveling!

Mogit will change your life. If you have it, you can see what your character looks like with the piece on just by hovering your mouse over it. It's an amazing addon.

I'm one of the people who's posted about that. The "solution" I've come up with is to look at the class-appropriate rewards from every quest using MogIt, to identify the model/color combinations which are available only from non-repeatable sources, such as quests. Then I dedicate most of my bank (it may end up being all of it, eventually) and all of my void storage to just those few items, and sell the rest.I've got something on the order of 140-150 slots taken up by such items at the moment, and I still have half of the Wrath quests, all of the post-85 quests, all of the BC dungeon and raid quests, and most of whatever vanilla raid quests may still exist left to go.Plus, before hitting on this approach, I sold off quite a few "less interesting" or "less likely to be visible" items (e.g. bracers)... so the true numbers may be higher even than that.I strongly suspect that I'll find that there simply is not enough space in one character's inventory, bank and Void Storage for even just these "effectively unique" items, even with a full set of max-size bags. Even if there is, it's not reasonable to expect people to dedicate their entire storage space to simply *keep their options open* for transmogrification. Some better solution for quest-only items is needed. I've been contemplating various options to try to find one which seems worth suggesting to Blizzard. So far, my best idea is a "trade-in NPC" who will let you select any equippable quest-reward item for any quest you've already completed, and will scan through your entire inventory and delete any other equippable items rewarded by that quest. Essentially, this would let you "change your mind" about which quest reward you wanted from any given quest, any time you wanted to go to the trouble.
