I like it, the dark ranger them selves seem to be using the rogue rep gear from tbc , oppurtunist, so it would be easy enough to obtain the look for a feral / rogue with various quest rewards etc and use the out fit with daggers instead =]
Over all the layering is nice, the legs and chest seem a bit off even though the green twang from them can be glimpsed slightly in the hands and shoulders.
Have you thought about using http://www.wowhead.com/item=45941/chestguard-of-the-lasher and http://www.wowhead.com/item=46019/leggings-of-the-insatiable ?

here's my version of the "ranger-esc" them though i feel it gives off more of a dark assassin or crusader feel
