Incoming QQing that the Horde got the biggest bill in 5, 4, 3, 2...
iscalio Mar 15th 2012 9:53AM
While it is true that each Horde bill is worth more than its Alliance analog, this does not mean much. The denomination of a bill does not necessarily reflect the pictured person's importance, as shown prominently in the case of the U.S. currency. One can hardly consider Washington or Lincoln less revered presidents than Grover Cleveland for example (whose $1000 bill is still legal tender).

Of course with US currency, the most important "faction leader" is on the smallest bill, as that it's the most common one that everyone uses the most.
Caylynn Mar 15th 2012 9:46AM
Well, how can it not be Horde favouritism when a Horde character has the largest denomination bill? Hmm? They should have put someone "neutral" like Deathwing, on the largest bill!
ricard.bossle Mar 15th 2012 9:54AM
They could at least try to hide it from time to time.
Luotian Mar 15th 2012 9:55AM
Ha, I agree with the points about the presidents. Mostly, I think the Allys, while they have some points, will use any excuse to whine XD.
Magni is on the five. I'm going to be collecting those like candy.
Terrant Mar 15th 2012 10:24AM
@iscalio And don't forget the $10,000 bill, which has all the presidents having a party, and Jimmy Carter's passed out on the coach, according to the "Mr. Plow" episode of The Simpsons.

Personally, I think this is great. Now whenever someone gets pissed off and flips the gameboard over, someone can scream, "THRALL'S BILLS! THEY'RE EVERYWHERE!"
tydygunn Mar 17th 2012 2:53PM
I'm just happy that Tyrande and Sylvannas are so cheap...
orco42 Mar 15th 2012 9:05AM
Proof that Thrall is five times better than Varian!
Swifteye Mar 15th 2012 9:06AM
Oh, goody.
*puts on helmet, hunkers down, awaits the hundreds of "ZOMG HORDE FAVORITISM!!" comments warring with "Thralls' not Horde anymore, he's just Mary Sue Green Jesus that Metzen wants to **** off and here is further proof" ones*
Matheus314 Mar 15th 2012 9:27AM
Thrall is not horde anymore???
D:
Whats that symbol on the right side of his bill???
Keeyla Mar 15th 2012 9:10AM
I personally can't wait to see what the game tokens are. ^^ Definitely getting this when it comes out, since when I hang out with certain friends we end up playing Monopoly (or Candyland, which we turn into a suspense-filled card-drawing frenzy) at some point or another.
Mycroft Mar 15th 2012 9:17AM
Now I'm wondering if the Chance and Community Chest type cards are going to be dueling goblin/gnome engineers.

You have won second prize in the Booty Bay Beauty Contest....

Why does Tyrande's bill show Eastern Kingdoms, and Sylvanas' shows Kalimdor? Isn't that backwards?
HappyTreeDance Mar 15th 2012 10:57AM
I think they're showing the continent by faction, not by where the person lives. Alliance's capitol is in Eastern Kingdoms, so that's what the money shows. Horde is in Kalimdor. You'll notice for Chen, they show both continents, thus showing his neutrality, not that he's living in either place.
quelaenvyn Mar 15th 2012 11:01AM
The Landmass seem to be basic on the faction not the leader itself and horde are mostly basic in Kalimdor and alliance is Eastern Kingdom. This is why the one dollar bill have both since Pandas can be both.
vegetto375 Mar 15th 2012 9:19AM
The funny thing is that by acknowledging that people will cry Horde favoritism, you are also acknowledging the Horde favoritism. And yes, I know that by me posting this, it also means that I'm seeing the favoritsm, which I do.
Luotian Mar 15th 2012 9:26AM
I see it as Thrall favoritism, actually, more so than Horde. Mostly because I don't feel Thrall is a good representation of the Horde. At all.
