I kinda stopped reading after that Uldum section.
I HATED Harrison Jones. The whole Tol'Vir part of the zone was absolutely amazing. Taking the city was absolutely epic.
Then I got dropped into the middle of Raiders of the Lost Arc quest chain that absolutely butchered the zone. Absolutely ridiculously stupid.

Yeah, I agree the Jones part of Uldum was awful, but you should still read the rest of the interview. =\

Interesting, if you put < expletive> than it changes the word to absolutely. Kewl.
Let's see if that worked.

"I kinda stopped reading after that Uldum section."
I'm assuming your stopped reading when he said;
"We got a lot of different reactions to Uldum. Players overwhelmingly named it their favorite zone ...
Yeah, we saw that poll!
Yeah! It's because you can totally relate to it. Harrison Jones, adventure, and all that. "
I suggest you start reading again, I think you'll find he was being sarcastic when he mentioned that, because he immidiately explains that they did overuse various mechanics in Uldum and that Harrison Jones really did interupt the player experience.

Oh I finished the article, I just zone out when doing it lol. But yeah, I know he said he wanted to fix it by focusing more on the player again, but from what I've seen throughout Cata I kind of doubt that.
Not that that is necessarily a bad thing, it can be done very well, like with Tirion in vanilla, for example, it's just that so far in Cata we've been overshadowed by characters the whole time. Thrall, Harrison Jones, Garrosh, etc.. The best zone for solo character was Vashj'ir, but they said (not in this interview, another) that they didn't really like that zone, so I don't have too much hope for MoP.
Wow, that's a lot of commas.
hehe, I love this find.

But the Ramhaken storyline is interesting, albeit it feels incomplete :(
Still dont buy Uldum as great as they think it is. Always do the Ramhaken part, and completely avoid the Harrison Jones part =/

For me Uldum--both parts--was awesome the first time through. But Harrison had no replay value at all.
The Cat People are still fun every time though.

Completely agreed. Ramkahen, fine, quite enjoyable actually but thanks to the Harrison Jones stuff it pretty much went absolutely nowhere.
What happens to them? Do they pick a side between the Horde and the Alliance? Do they remain neutral? Does the Horde and Alliance start to pick through their land, the ruins, searching for power? Will they start trading with the outside world? It just really annoys me that the development of a genuinely interesting race got completely sidelined for a massive pop-culture reference.
