I really love the new challange modes. I really do. In each expansion the first times you did heroics the npc's would sweap the floor with you if you messed up. I really like heroics when people do not have gear and they actually have to be attentive, pay attention and do well overall... as the expansion progresses people get more and more gear and the amount of skill/attentiveness ( is that a word? :) ) required is less and less.. If the challange modes are harder or something along the lines of that I wellcome that with open arms...
