From the Tom Chilton interview:

"We are slowly in progress with revamping the races, but the reality is that at best we would get the Dwarves for Mists of Pandaria, and even that's on the bubble. It is something that we are planning to do, it is something that we want to get to and actually believe is valuable."

Gamebreaker tv is reporting that new models are not likely to make it into the launch of Mists

From what I read, I get that the Dwarf models are almost ready, but they're still working on the other races.

To make such a specific statement, they probably have already some half-baked model prototpes that they're testing and working on. This means that they are actively working on this stuff, so we can be sure that new models ARE going to happen. Not at the release of MoP, maybe not in the first patches, but we'll probably get them for the next expansion, or even sooner.

Relax guys, new models are not going the way of the Dance Studio/Path of the Titans.
