Just throwing out some 1 AM thoughts and impressions...

So, Garrosh was the great war hero of the orcs, chosen by Thrall to give hope and courage to the orcs (who were always baffled that Thrall sought peace). So now Garrosh is going down.

1. The orcs *might* realize that Garrosh's way - the old "orcish" way - is not working on Azeroth. If they do realize that - identity crisis? If they don't - a repeat of the same problems?

2. I can't see Thrall coming back. A) - he's got a family now. B) - he retired. C) - the orcs thought he was weird anyway.

3. Orc is to Horde as Human is to Alliance. I can't see another racial leader stepping into the role of Warchief (unless it's explicitly an interim position until a qualified orc can be found).

Some very interesting things for the future.

The issue with putting Thrall back on the throne is the same reason he's off it.

Because Varian against Thrall doesn't look good. Thrall talking about peace and Varian punching orcish babies.

With Varian and Garrosh, they could both happily punch babies together.

I'd bet on a return for Varok Saurfang. Maybe that's just because I'm hoping.

Although I do hope Garrosh doesn't die. I've grown to like the big lug, even though he's almost got me killed so many times.
