The character creation UI buff is definitely the winner of the lot for me. We already had "consolidated buffs" in the UI, so its new replacement isn't that awe-inspiring. As for mega-damage, I'm happy that less numbers will be cluttering my screen... but on the other hand, I was really hoping for that item squish--having gear scale better while leveling just seems like it should have been the better route to take in the long run. I expect we'll be seeing it in the next expansion.
As for talents... I like "one-size-fits-all" talent builds (because I like being able to PvE AND PvP as one talent specialization and another (ie: Unholy AND Frost, not dual-Unholy for each type of game mode). I liked that they were moving talents in a personalized direction of making each choice feel like a play-style choice (select the way you'd like to generate your resource) rather than a balance or numbers choice (3 points, increase attack power. Woo). But now that they're making them hot-swap-able, I'm afraid talents will end up being one of those things you're penalized for in a fight by not picking what's 'best' for any given encounter as opposed to what you'd rather have because you like it ("they're hot-swap-able, so you better have Anti-Magic Zone for this magic boss, even if you'd rather have Lichborne to heal yourself").
