I'm surprised that they didn't announce the start of the beta during the press tour. It seems like that would have helped spice up the otherwise languid press announcement.

you call the info dump we got languid?

Languid is kind of an odd term for it, but I get his meaning.

There weren't really any shockers- most of it was details on things we knew/were pretty sure were coming. We got the female pandaren, a couple more details on the classes, an overview/review of the questing zones and instances, but no amazing shockers like "Another profession" or "another type of transport" (teleportation or somethin? i dunno) or "we're redoing paladin's again". Of course, that last wouldn't be a shock. >.>

Heh. I think the lyricist from Steely Dan reads WoW Insider. Not that I'm one to throw stones from my glass house made of obscure words and pretentious allegory...I'm like a shark. I just have to keep... Making analogies.

Well, they're re-doing warlocks.Sure they wear black and hang out at night, but that doesn't mean they aren't here!(Blizz is actually implementing glowing vests so we know where to find locks. :)
