Well sure, if you look at it only as a player then what you want is the most perfect game possible at launch no matter how long it takes. But I seriously doubt that is the main factor here.They have to answer to their shareholders and do something to stop or at least slow down the subscriber bleed. Ideally they want to grow their base again. Blizzard is a business and they are big enough now that those shareholder opinions are going to count more and more when it comes to things like this. Especially now when they are getting serious competition from good games in the MMO market. While some of those shareholders might be gamers, I suspect most of them just look at it all on paper and want to know why their investment is not going up.
