My Mount & I is obviously different from the normal Moviewatch video. It's basically a traditional music video featuring Sharm singing. You know, like a music video. My Mount & I is pretty straightforward that way. The song is about an ancient quest in WoW that new whipper-snappers won't ever need to do. (I can say nothing more without deep spoilers!)
I'll admit I'm not completely sold on the lyrics, but Sharm's voice is impressive as always. The instrumental work is awesome; I'm a sucker for a guitar. So ultimately, even if the lyrics don't blow me away, I've turned out to be a pretty big fan of the performance. Interested in the wide world of machinima? We have new movies every weekday here on WoW Moviewatch! Have suggestions for machinima we ought to feature? Toss us an email at moviewatch@wowinsider.com.
It feels very disheartening to see a lot of talent being thrown at WoW, via original songs, covers, artwork etc. and getting little to no recognition from Blizzard.
I am hoping that sometime in the future, Blizzard will make amends and put some of the better songs people have made into the game somehow, maybe like a multimedia art gallery.
Maybe they will implement an in-game radio to give a lot of podcasters, singers, shoutcasters, theorycrafters etc a genuine venue to enrich the game for the rest of us. Maybe, just maybe. Or maybe they'll milk us for a lot of cash with the future pet battles system. I wonder which one is more likely.
Ah, that brings me back. That Dreadsteed really meant something when you had to complete that whole chain climaxing with getting a group to do Scholomance and Dire Maul with you and hoping someone had the crescent key (or a rogue) to get you right to the west wing.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, "where my warlocks at?"
Just remembering this a few weeks ago with my bro. Doesn't get much more epic than the quests done for our demons and steeds. The days of real WoW will not be forgotten. I'll play this every single time a noob pulls adds, a troll acts 12, or a dps blames a healer.

I'm confused. I usually am but is this the right video? Sorry if I missed the point and all. It's still Sharm's voice, which is nice. :)

Never did the lock quest chain myself, but I tanked it many times back then for lock friends, alts, and whatnot. Good times!

Sharm has such an amazing voice, wish she looked like she had more confidence in it!

It is really distracting that her hair is apparently trying to stab out her right eye.
