As goes the community, so too I go -- I was worried about the female pandaren model. The male pandaren looked so great at BlizzCon that I really didn't think Blizzard could surpass it. Personally, I think it works and fits well. Check out our gallery for lots of shots of the female pandaren.
It's open warfare between Alliance and Horde in Mists of Pandaria, World of Warcraft's next expansion. Jump into five new levels with new talents and class mechanics, try the new monk class, and create a pandaren character to ally with either Horde or Alliance. They all have the same smile?! You need more character! The nose and eyes appear to be the same, as well, I hope all those things will be fixed. I love cute and cuddly, I even collect teddy bears irl--but you need variety to make your toon your own, something that shows personality. As for the people complaining about the figure, huh? Do you expect a panda to be skinny? If anything they're too human, but the Mae West figure does look pretty nice on the panda gals. And I like the markings.

I think the models look great, and that Blizz hit a homerun on the first try compared to the issues they had with the fem-worgen.
But I have to ask, am I the only one that thinks of Sonic's little buddy Tails? I know panda/racoon vs fox and one tail vs two tails, but just overall-first-glance type thing.
Again, still love it, 100% a fan.

Ah! Was disappointed before someone pointed out that all of the customization options aren't in yet. Good. So it's possible we'll get multiple face options, then.

@Pyro - I think it's all optical illusion from the different markings / angles -- but I see what you're saying. Sort of like how the female worgen face can suddenly look dramatically different depending on what facial markings / colors you choose. (No seriously! Choose a deathknight and the all-black option for one just for giggles...they honestly look a LOT different suddenly!)

I'm so glad Pandarens are NOT another race with glowing eyes. The details including the creases in the armor look fantastic. If this is the slightest representative of what the new character models will look like, it will be a game changer, and a clear message to WoW's competition that an old dog can learn new tricks and still relevant in an increasingly crowded market.

It also makes me ridiculously sad that Draenei and Blood Elves are being given such low priority for make-overs. Sure, they look better than what we have now, but they are going to look ridiculously dated once the other models get brushed up.

I hope these wonderful models don't get saddled with annoying sounds though. Sniff sniff for worgens - hopefully nothing like the pandaren monk's sounds for these.

The only question I have is where did the Fox tail come from? Panda's don't have fox tails...

No, but red pandas do have tails. I guess this is what Blizz thinks the "red panda" version of Pandaren have for tails!

Actually, a couple of those unlabeled tabs work just fine; one of them has a host of nifty hairstyles to play with.

I expected the red pandas to be fully red. Took me a minute to realize that it wasnt brown.
Cant wait to see the other face options. I hope there is a feral looking one

Rolling one Panda monk per faction on launch, and already lined up 2, maybe 3 toons that will race change (tauren warrior and night elf priest, maybe my troll priest also).
These images are nice to see. The tailless one is not as bad as I'd worried - so maybe some of my pandas will have tails and some not.
