23 images of the female pandaren customization

As goes the community, so too I go -- I was worried about the female pandaren model. The male pandaren looked so great at BlizzCon that I really didn't think Blizzard could surpass it. Personally, I think it works and fits well. Check out our gallery for lots of shots of the female pandaren.
It's open warfare between Alliance and Horde in Mists of Pandaria, World of Warcraft's next expansion. Jump into five new levels with new talents and class mechanics, try the new monk class, and create a pandaren character to ally with either Horde or Alliance. Look for expansion basics in our Mists FAQ, or dig into our spring press event coverage for more details!Filed under: Mists of Pandaria

I'm liking the various grey colour options. Hopefully we will have a choice of faces, but even if we don't, I'll still be rolling a female pandaren monk. I have one of all the other healing classes already (worgen priest and druid, dwarf shaman, draenei paladin), so I have to have a monk to go with them.
When I get into the beta (yes, I signed up for the annual pass) I'll probably stick with Horde races though, and save the Pandaren and Alliance experiences for when MoP goes live. I'm sure there will still be plenty of bugs to find Horde-side!

Not to start a fight I don't want to have, but I -am- a little creeped out by the people who apparently only roll female characters they'd like to fuck.
I don't even want to enumerate the number of broad categories of weird questions that raises...

You are not the only one. I really don't get it.
Then again, I'm a woman. And I can't imagine rolling a male character just because I thought he was "hot" or something silly like that. Not to mention, none of the male racial models are particularly attractive... BElfs have the "pretty boy" look, but it certainly isn't hot or appealing to this woman at least.

For me it's more about the general disappointment in the football-playing meatshields I have for a choice in male characters. My main is a human-female Paladin (I myself am a human male...uh...human?). Letsee if I wanted to play a male paladin alliance-side what are my choices? Human (meathead), Dwarf (not terrible, but a bit short), Draenei (AHHHNOLD). Strangely I just rolled a Tauren Sunwalker alt on another server and those ridiculous cow-folk are actually growing on me.
So I guess it's less about sexual attraction, but I will say most of the female PC models are easier on the eyes than the males. And yes I actually have an even number of males to females on my main server.
And with Mists I'll have more male characters than ever with Pandaren. And whenever the new PC models come out, anything could change.

Some people have a messed-up idea about female characters. They think there's no point to them unless they'd want to hit that (or, alternately, look like their preferred pretty-princess fantasy).

So you're bagging on the guys who roll female toons to ogle them, and yet you've provided no reasoning as to why you'd prefer to roll an ugly female toon.
Explain to me what compels you, as a man, to play a frumpy little dwarf women or the female troll with a face that can curdle milk. To me that's stranger than the guy who wants to play the girl with the nice rack. At least that's somewhat understandable.

@Lemons:
Er, well, I play some Orc and Tauren males, because it's fun to be a hulking Minotaur beast, built like a refrigerator with a head (1 internets to whosoever gets this reference). I play a male Draenei because being a sort of alien angel from a dead world is cool. Aaand the same applies for my female tauren, or female Draenei. Don't get me wrong, my blue, hooved alien girl is aesthetically pleasing; cute, even. But I most definitely would -not- "tap that."
It's okay to want to play characters you find aesthetically appealing, obviously. If you don't like the Pandaren female look, then don't roll one. But if you are making your decision on the matter, either for or against, based on whether the model sexually excites you, then I have a very long list of reasons why you shouldn't do that (even if it's a human or elf; this is not, strictly, an anti-furry agument).

Sorry but something about her face - the snout I guess - makes her seem too rodent-like. At certain angles and coupled with her big round ears, I can't help but see Minnie Mouse, or one of the CGI Chippettes. Maybe they could broaden her snout a bit? I don't know.

Also, even though this is coming in 6 pages too late and probably won't be seen by anyone:
Male pandaren are indeed getting red panda skins, but they don't appear to be fully implemented yet. The skin colors aren't selectable on the character select screen, and they lack the fluffy tails.
However, some of the male pandaren in Northrend have the red and reddish-brown fur colors, and a few of the premades with randomized appearances have turned out with the red panda skins.
